Field Service Engineer

Are you looking for a varied international service position in mechanical engineering? Do you want to work independently and do you enjoy visiting our customers on location – both in Europe and beyond?

What are you going to do?

First of all, you are responsible for (co-) assembling and assembling a custom-made installation in Nijkerk. In consultation with our production and engineering department, you continuously implement improvements and adjustments that are in line with the specific wishes of the customer. You also provide advice on drawing up maintenance regulations.

As soon as the machine is ready, you go to the customer - at home and abroad!

You are responsible for:

  • Commissioning the installation at the customer's facility;
  • Performing service and maintenance;
  • Identifying and solving problems/malfunctions on location;
  • Maintaining direct contact with the customer.

Who are we looking for?

  • You have a completed BSc in Mechanical Engineering;
  • You have several years of experience in mechanical engineering;
  • You are able to read complicated technical drawings;
  • You have knowledge of PLC and Scada software;
  • You master the Dutch and English language;
  • You are technically skilled, independent and you have a problem-solving attitude;
  • you are flexible and willing to work/stay abroad frequently (50%) (max. 6 consecutive weeks);
  • You live in the Nijkerk area.
